Mindful Pregnancy and Birth Preparation

This is an individualised session that can centre on whatever is coming up for you. It can happen as you prepare yourself for pregnancy, or at any point during the pregnancy where you would like guidance and support.

We may spend this time focussing on:
 

  • Ways to create space in your life to welcome a pregnancy

  • Making sense of and moving through a previous birth experience

  • Choosing your place of birth and different care options

  • Taking ownership of your pregnancy

  • Guidance around nutrition and lifestyle

  • Connecting with your baby

  • Support for maintaining connected relationships with loved ones

  • Ways to invite connection, ritual and presence into your pregnancy

After booking this session, I will send you a questionnaire to learn about how I can best support your precious needs during our time together. This will guide the session, so we can make the best use of our time and focus on YOU. Partners and support people are welcome and encouraged to join all of the sessions.

Birth and Postpartum Preparation

Would you like to:

 

Give birth on your own terms, honouring your right to experience an empowering birth?

 

Feel confident in communicating your needs, and advocating for yourself?

 

Experience a blissful postpartum?

This is an individualised session that can centre on anything you would like guidance and support on. It can happen at any time throughout your pregnancy when you feel ready to focus on birth and postpartum. The sooner that you start envisioning your desires for a beautiful birth and a protected postpartum, the better!

This time together may look at connecting on:

  • Gaining clarity on your vision and intention for birth

  • Practical ways to mindfully prepare for birth, on a physical, emotional and spiritual level

  • Moving through fears

  • Discussing any questions or concerns about your place of birth and model of care

  • Learning how to advocate for yourself, set boundaries and make informed decisions

  • Understanding different options for your birth

  • Safeguarding your postpartum - learning about the five pillars for a protected and blissful postpartum

  • Ways your partner and support team can hold space for you
